Privacy policy What we collect, and what we do not.

This page explains what Rivera Tennis Academy does with the details you give us through this website, who else ever sees them, and how to get them back or get them deleted. It is written to be read. We are a local tennis academy, not a data company, and there is not much here that will surprise you.

What we collect

Who we are, and what the form collects

Who we are

Rivera Tennis Academy coaches tennis at Forest Oaks Swim & Racquet Club, 19023 Joanleigh Dr, Spring, TX 77388. This website is ours, and we run it to explain our tennis lessons and to let people book a first lesson.

What the contact form collects

When you fill in the booking form on our contact page, you choose to give us:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • The player's age and level
  • The times of day or week that suit you
  • Anything you type into the message box

Nothing on the form is required beyond a name and a phone number. Please do not send us medical details, payment card numbers or any other sensitive information through the form. If you would rather not use it at all, just call (855) 556-0450.

What is recorded automatically

Like every website, this one is served by a host that keeps ordinary access records: the page requested, the date and time, your IP address, the browser and device you used, and the page you arrived from. We do not use those records to work out who you are. They exist so the site can be kept online and defended from abuse, and they are held only for as long as that takes.

How we use it

What we do with your details

What we use it for

We use what you send to answer your enquiry: to call, text or email you back, to suggest the right group or lesson, and to give you a start date. If you ticked the consent box on the form, we may also text you occasionally about lessons, camps and events at the academy.

We do not sell your details and we do not rent them. No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone.

Text messages

Texting is optional and it is never a condition of booking. If you consented to messages you can stop them at any time by replying STOP to any text we send, and you can get help by replying HELP or calling (855) 556-0450. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Where your enquiry is stored

The form files into HighLevel, the customer-management system we use to keep track of enquiries and to send appointment reminders. They hold the details on our behalf and under our instructions; they are not free to use them for anything of their own. If you would rather not use the form at all, call (855) 556-0450 and nothing is stored beyond what we write down.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of players who have trained with us. When they are no longer useful, we delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Your rights

Your rights and choices

Children

We coach players from four years old, so most of what we hold about a child comes from a parent rather than from the child. The form is for the adult: a parent or guardian should be the one who fills it in, and we do not ask children to give us anything directly.

When you tell us a player's age and level we treat it as information about a booking, and we use it only to place that player in the right group. We do not advertise to children, and we never use a child’s details for marketing of any kind. If you believe a child has sent us something without your knowing, call (855) 556-0450 and we will delete it.

How to have your details removed

Ask us and we will remove them. Call (855) 556-0450 or ask at the desk at Forest Oaks Swim & Racquet Club. Tell us the name and phone number you used and we will delete what we hold. You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.

Cookies & third parties

Cookies, analytics and other websites

Maps on our area pages

Our town and neighbourhood pages show a Google map of the drive to the courts. The map is part of Google Maps, not something we host, so when it loads your browser contacts Google directly and Google may set its own cookies. It only loads once you scroll down to it, so if you never reach that part of the page it is never fetched. Blocking third-party content in your browser stops it loading and nothing else on the page stops working — every page that shows a map also prints the drive in text and links out to Google Maps.

Website analytics

We may use a website analytics tool to count visits and see which pages people read. That kind of tool records things like the page you viewed, the rough region you visited from, and the type of device you used. We look at it as totals, to work out which pages are useful. We do not use it to identify you by name, and the tool we have set up to use sets no cookies at all.

Most browsers let you block cookies and analytics scripts in their settings, or through a privacy extension. Blocking them will not stop any part of this site from working.

Links to other websites

Some pages link out to other websites, such as our social media pages and Google Maps. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else's site and their privacy policy applies, not ours.

Keeping it safe

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiries are held in password-protected accounts that only the people who answer them can open. No website can promise perfect security, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise — which is also why we ask you not to send card numbers or medical details through the form.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle enquiries, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is a significant one we will say what changed, rather than only moving the date.

Who else sees it

The companies we use

The short version

We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it and we do not trade it. We do not use it for targeted advertising and we do not profile you. The only companies that touch it are the ones running the tools we use to answer you, and they act on our instructions and nobody else’s.

Who they are

  • HighLevel — the system the enquiry form files into. It holds enquiries, sends appointment reminders, and sends the text messages you consented to.
  • Cloudflare — hosts this website and keeps the ordinary access records described above.
  • Google — the maps on our area pages and the reviews we show come from Google, and your browser contacts Google directly when one loads.

When we would have to hand something over

If the law required it — a court order, or a genuine safety emergency — we would comply. That has not happened and we do not expect it to.

If you live in Texas

Your rights under Texas law

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents rights over their personal data. We honour them whether or not a business our size is required to, because there is no good reason not to. You may ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy of it;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete what we hold;
  • stop sending you marketing, including text messages.

There is nothing to opt out of on the sale of personal data or on targeted advertising, because we do neither.

How to ask

Call (855) 556-0450, write to us at 19023 Joanleigh Dr, Spring, TX 77388, or ask in person at Forest Oaks Swim & Racquet Club. Tell us the name and phone number you used so that we can find you. We will answer within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need longer.

If we say no

If we turn a request down we will tell you why, and you can appeal by calling or writing to the same places. We will answer an appeal within 60 days. If we still say no, you can complain to the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.

  • Rivera Tennis academy is the best of the best when it comes to Tennis lesson. My son started his lessons here in late August taking private lessons under Coach Devin!! This is the first of any sport my son is playing and we were bit unsure how he might like it. Coach Devin has proved us that these were just our mere concerns. Our son has thrived under Coach Devin’s leadership and training. He is soo patient with our son and works with him at his level. It’s only been few months but our son has come a long way in the world of tennis. Coach Devin is also a very kind and respectful young man! Thank you Ivett for assigning him as our son’s coach. You will never get judged here at the court. Everyone encourages and is kind to each other.

  • I seriously wish I had found this place YEARS ago. They have great dedicated coaches who focus on technique while still making sure everyone in the class has a good time. Students are given time with different coaches (including conditioning!) And often get one-on-one attention. The biggest plus for me is that my kids and I can have our own classes at the same time...so everyone wins!

  • I can't say enough great things about this Rivera Tennis Academy! The coaches here are absolutely wonderful—each one brings a unique combination of expertise, passion, and positivity that makes learning both fun and effective. They truly care about the progress of each player, providing personalized attention and guidance tailored to individual needs. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, the coaches are always there to motivate you, offer constructive feedback, and help you achieve your goals. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, and I always leave feeling more confident in my skills. I highly recommend this academy to anyone looking to improve their tennis game or to even learn the game of tennis. Cheers-Tony
